DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS
Whenever you see one of the Rescue Squad's trucks, you're watching
volunteers at work. All squad members donate their time free of charge, often spending many additional hours of personal time
in advanced training. When they're not performing rescues or learning new techniques, squad members maintain equipment and
sharpen their existing skills. Since Rescue Squad members do not receive any compensation or benefits, the squad is able to
use all of its funding for equipment, training and programs. As a non-profit organization, the squad relies on both private
and public funding.

2. Need emergency medical services

the woods
4. Fall off a cliff
5. Get trapped or injured in a cave
6. Are buried in a trench or building collapse

... or in dozens of other emergencies

THANK YOU! The corporation is organized not for profit,
but it is formed for the purpose of promoting, sponsoring, establishing, maintaining and operating lifesaving crews and courses
and programs of instruction in safety and lifesaving methods and procedures to administer and render first aid and generally
to engage in all forms of lifesaving, first aid and safety programs, procedures and acts. The Hawkins
County Rescue Squad would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have made contributions to the Squad
in any way. We are grateful for each donation, regardless of how large or small. We would like also to thank the people for
all the kind words of encouragement given to the members of this Squad. It sure helps when one has spent long hours without
rest or sleep to know that someone cares. We would like to thank the many business places in the county who have helped by
contributing money and letting their employees off in times of emergencies.
